The success of Serotonin Surge Charities is due in large part to the world’s most enthusiastic and dedicated group of volunteers. Listed here are some of the people who make our organization go!

Core Team

Tina Bozzini (event and volunteer coordinator; event registration): Tina is an administrative specialist with TPMG.  We enticed her to join us as an event registrar and more recently she has taken on volunteer coordination and event planning. 

Bob Bashore, principal of Bashore Design, is kind enough to lend us his expertise in graphic design, art, and promotions.  He creates the look and feel of our media ads and Spring Break program.  Without Bob, there would be a lot less serotonin in our surge.

Joyce Bold : a veteran executive administrative assistant at TPMG in Roseville, Joyce is the event coordinator for our annual Maggi Carlile Scholarship dinner. She's also a pretty good golfer.

Angelina Burek (event coordinator): Angie is an executive administrative assistant with TPMG and has done it all from sponsorship development to event registration to print ad preparation. Her son Chase is our youngest volunteer.

Shawn Britton (website): Shawn is the owner of smallbizWebsites.net and is the architect of our website. He is married to TPMG ER physician Lisa Keenly.

Juli Carlile oversees the Maggi Carlile Scholarship program along with her husband, Tony and also helps with registration, mulligan sales, and the drink cart at the annual golf tournament.

Tony Carlile Tony is a TPMG hospitalist in Roseville. In addition to helping Juli to oversee the Maggi Carlile Scholarship program, he picks up, delivers, and sets up all the tournament signage.

Lesli Chuck (event, dining, and fashion show coordinator): If you need an event planned, call Lesli. Be it a school fundraiser, baby shower, BUNCO party, or golf tournament, she’s the person to get it done. Lesli also serves on the Davis Schools Foundation board of directors.  (Lesli is pictured with her husband of 23 years).

Michael Chun: this Roseville TPMG internist has been kind enough to pick up, store, and deliver numerous items to our annual golf tournament, including over 200 bags of fortune cookies and a truckload of Gatorade.

Steven Chun, David Nakano, Howard Sakima, Steven Chu, and Steven Seto (putting contest organizers): this group of wild and crazy group of physicians and a pharmacist organize what is without doubt the most creative and fun putting contest anywhere.

Glenda Fox, of Glenda Fox Photography, is the official photographer of Serotonin Surge Charities and does an outstanding job of capturing the joy of our events.  Please check out her website to see the marvelous work she does for weddings and graduation pictures. 

Jimi Fox (no relation to Glenda) from Kaiser Permanente's information technology department helps to keep this website fresh by uploading and arranging information in a way that is entertaining and easy to navigate.

Dennis Silva: school administrator and professional painter extraordinaire, Dennis helps deliver our tournament souvenir items, posts course signage, and one year even stacked balls in nice pyramids at the driving range.

Clayton Tanaka: In addition to being a fine attorney, rabid roller hockey coach, and outstanding golfer, Clay is a super nice guy who thinks nothing of giving great legal advice or rolling up his sleeves to unload 400 bottles of water for our tournament.

Dale Weathers, of Ellis & Ellis, has been the man behind our signage since our inception.  We can't thank Dale and Burr and Bret Ellis enough because as the saying goes, "It's all about signage."
