The 17th Annual Serotonin Surge Charity Golf Tournament was held at the Turkey Creek Golf Club on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and players, we raised $50,000 for the UC Davis School of Medicine's student run free clinics, Cure Breast Cancer, and the Thrive Scholarship Program. Steve Kaneski's team came in first with a score of 55 and took home the Jim Stiling Memorial Award. The three time defending championship team led by Dr. Mark Pedroncelli came in second with a score of 56. Coming in third with a score of 58 were Sam Cole, Ralph Herrera, Craig Sepulveda, and Willie Johnson. Mike Hemak won the putting contest with a score of 11. Dave Cox from Ellis and Ellis won Closest to the Pin. Shelley Troshinsky, Doug Malinoff, and Tom Yee won our long drive contests. John Lescroart's team won the best dressed foursome contest. This year's donation to the UC Davis School of Medicine's student run free clinics was made in honor of Lesli Chuck (UCD '84), Serotonin Surge Charities board member and event planner. The check was accepted by UC Davis medical student and Knights Landing Clinic volunteer Rachel Jensen (Class of 2018).
Mark your calendars for our 18th annual tournament on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015 at the Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln, CA. The shotgun start scramble tournament will tee off at 10:30am.
